BIG? NOT YET

B?NY | #002 | from our home to your home

From our home to your home, here’s a new newsletter to help you discover some new artists for the next few days of lockdown. We hope their music makes you feel, scream, cry, dance, air-drum or even motivate you to learn to play a new instrument - after all, music is emotion and we’re sure you’re feeling many during these extraordinary times.

Aisle 5 (USA)

Five artsy youngsters that want to welcome us to the supermarket. They are Aisle 5, an up-and-coming band based in the US that will definitely be big, just not yet. The set of songs featured in their just released debut EP –titled “My Dog’s Birthday” and self-described as their indie pop-rap lovechild– are unpredictable, appealing and sticky as bubblegum. There’s something special in them.

Seed to tree (Luxembourg)

This indie-pop boyband born and raised in Luxembourg, mixes acoustic sounds with synth-pop and an inch of Afrobeats. Their songs are full of soul, and some may say they sound familiar to Bombay Bicycle Club or Ben Howard.

Pinpilinpussies (Spain)

Ane and Raquel met through a shared drum teacher and they keep sharing instruments -drums, guitar, voice- as Pinpilinpussies. DIY garage-punk attitude in both their songs and their live concerts. Their first album, released on a Friday 13th, at the beginning of the Spanish quarantine, will be perfect to release all the anger and confusion you may have inside.

Disq (USA)

Teetering-on-the-edge-of-chaos melange of sounds, experiences and memories that go from gnarled power-pop, anxious post-punk and warm psych-folch. The twenty something indie band sulk in style with songs full of nostalgia and bruised naivety.
